When we started the project, the question we asked ourselves was, "How do we carve out different programmatic spaces and yet connecting them intimately?"
Using a singular material, we allow the same material to take on different forms and density in carving out the various spaces within the apartment. The dining room is designed as a pavilion with framed views towards the living room and the entrance, the walk-in wardrobe doubles up as a contemplative tea room for quieter moments.
We were delighted to see how the screens connect the users even more intimately through the framed windows, how the kids run around the artificial turf like how they would in a park. It is like an outdoor environment redefined in an apartment setting.
