The brief calls for a total overhaul of the existing old kitchen for the client’s mum. They needed a very simple kitchen that allows all storage to be in plain sight and also possibility of herbs planting for the green fingered mum.
We decided to allow the texture to stand out in this simple kitchen design. Bevelled tiles, reflective glass, mosaics with white grids and potted plants are used to have contrasting texture coming together to define the kitchen space.
The usual mess of a kitchen stands out against all these textures. The mum started to introduce more pots of plants with the ledges we provided. Really just a simple kitchen.
